Dr. M.Senthil Kumar

The Principal of Mahendra Engineering College for Women, Thiruchengode is an experienced educator and academic leader with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in the field of engineering education.

Dr. M.Senthil Kumar has obtained a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and earned a PhD in Metallurgical and Material Engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology, Trichy.

He possesses vast experience and is having a deep passion in the field of education for more than 25 years. He held faculty positions at different levels with prime responsibilities, in many reputed Engineering colleges including as principal for over 15 years.

He published more than 32 papers in reputed National and International journals, as well as conferences. He organized several conferences, workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs.

He Guided successfully several doctoral students to complete PhD. He is presently acting as a member of the Board of Research and Board of Studies in many Universities and Colleges.

Dr. M.Senthil Kumar acted as a consultant for the Government of Tamil Nadu for capacity building and modernization of Agricultural plants and machinery. Furthermore, he worked with many quasi government organizations like THADCO, TNWDC and SEDS in conducting vocational training and skill development programs for the rural community.

He is a member of professional bodies like ISTE( Life-member) and IEI.

His passion and dedication have positively impacted technical education and entrepreneurship.

He delivered special addresses in large number of faculty Development Programmes, including guest lectures and expert talks in many workshops at the National and International level.

Also Dr. M.Senthil Kumar is having rich experience in organizing National and International level conferences, seminars and Faculty Development Programs with a keen eye on bringing about excellence in the teaching quality.

He played a vital role in successfully obtaining NBA, NAAC and the international ABET-USA accreditations for Institutions.

He has been serving as principal of Mahendra Engineering Institutions from 2016 onwards.
