Electronics and Communication Engineering
The Department was established in 2008 with B.E. programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Department has total staff strength of 20 including Teaching and Non-Teaching staff.
The experienced professors guide the Department aiming at educating and training students with sound knowledge and awareness in the fields of electronics, communication and information technology. Keeping in line with fast changing technology, the department has a well designed, constantly reviewed syllabus to incorporate all advancements in existing and emerging technologies.
The state-of-the-art laboratories complement the high standards set by the competitive syllabus and nurture the inclination of the students towards research and development, besides giving them the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge that they need.
To be a renowned department for education in Electronics and Communication Engineers, moulding students into professionals with the perception of cutting edge technology and offering higher order of pedagogy that will produce proficient technocrats.

- 3 Students from IV ECE have Won 1st Prize in Debate, 3rd Prize in Tamil Speech and 1st Prize in Logo Craton Competition held at Vivekanandha Educational Institutions, Tiruchengode, student from II ECE have Won 5th prize in Drawing Competition at Kaviyarasar Kalai Tamizh sangam.
- 6 Students from IV ECE participated in Smart India Hackathon 2023, at MIT-ADT University, Pune.
- 4 Project Batches from IV ECE got selected in Naan Mudhalvan- Niral Thiruvizha and Rs.10000 has been approved from Naan Mudhalvan for each Project Batch. The amount will be received after the successful completion of projects.
- 23 students from II ECE have completed Internship program.
- 1 Faculty Member from ECE has published a research article in international journal.
